HHC is a newer cannabinoid hitting the market by storm. This makes it tricky to determine legalities as it is such a new cannabinoid. But, according to the 2018 Farm Bill, as long as the cannabinoid is hemp-derived and below 0.3% Delta-9 THC, it is federally legal! So, at the federal level, HHC is legal, but each state has a say in what they want legal in their state.

If you have come to this article to find out if HHC is legal in your state, then you have come to the right place, so let’s get into it…

First off, let’s dive into what HHC is. HHC or Hexahydrocannabinol is another cannabinoid with similar effects to THC. HHC is the doomsday preppers dream as it is resistant to oxidation, heat, and UV light making it lose its potency at a MUCH slower rate than THC. HHC occurs naturally in hemp, but is only found in trace amounts, until now. Newer processes of isolation and extraction have evolved leading to higher quantities available for use in products. HHC can be great for offering a very euphoric high along with increases in mood and activity stimulation while still having the ability to remain in control!

So, is HHC Legal in My State?

As stated above, as long as the cannabinoid is extracted from hemp plants at or below 0.3% Delta-9 THC on a dry weight basis, they are federally legal.
